However, I think we have a lot more than that!
I was reading my devotional this morning, and the side notes compared patience to a muscle, in that the more we "work it out", the stronger it becomes!
That was so encouraging! But I recently heard the same thing about doubt.
We have to realize that just like we train our muscles, we must "train" our character. Putting the Word of God into our systems, which develops the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22)
builds strong character, just like eating fruits and vegetables builds strong muscles.
We must remember that putting bad nutrients like fear, anger, or doubt, or things that encourage those emotions, into our lives (bodies) can be harmful to our systems and train our
bodies to be strong in negativity.
I just thought maybe this was an idea worth sharing :)
